Today I thought I’d take a break sharing Swagbucks Tips to share a tasty recipe instead!
Awhile back I posted a recipe for Blueberry Yogurt that you can make for your baby or toddler! The process is so quick and easy and I love that I can control how much sugar is going into what I feed my child.
A couple weeks ago, someone asked if mango could be used. If so, would it still need to be heated over the stove for a few minutes like the blueberries? I thought I would try this myself. I only had one mango on hand, and it wasn’t going to be quite enough for a whole batch, so I added a couple peaches as well.
The result? Seriously delicious yogurt that you just can’t buy at the store! It’s so delicous you’re going to want to keep some for yourself.
Mango-Peach Yogurt
1 32 oz Tub of Plain Yogurrt
1 fresh, really ripe mango
2 ripe peaches
1-2 tblsp honey (for babies over 1 year old) or sugar
Directions
- Peel the mango and peaches. In a blender or food processor, blend well until there are no more chunks.
- In a large bowl, mix fruit mixture with yogurt. Mix in honey or sugar.
- Pour what you can of the yogurt back into the tub it came in, or into whatever containers you’d like! I put some of the yogurt into Food Pouches for my son to use and even froze some in little cups.
