Today my little family has the blessing of celebrating my husband’s birthday!
It never ceases to amaze me to see how God has worked in his life. From the moment I met him, I saw his heart for the Lord and his desire to serve others. He is always looking for ways to reach out to people and be a blessing to them. I am so thankful for the godly example he is to me and our son.
Thursday we had family over to finish our Christmas celebration, so I decided to have a birthday cake for my husband too so we could celebrate with family.
I know, I know! Not enough candles on the cake. But I didn’t want his ice cream cake to melt under the heat of 35 candles!
This year my prayer for my husband:
I pray your walk with the Lord would grow stronger each and every day,
that your love for the Lord would grow deeper. That you would love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
I pray also that “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
